Agent or Roadblock?
Winston Churchill said, “There is nothing wrong with change, if it is in the right direction.”
Some changes are beneficial; others become obvious mistakes. Appropriate change is what
allows the Christian faith to remain relevant in a changing world. How do you respond to
appropriate change? The Christian message must never change. The delivery systems must
always change.
Are you a change agent or a roadblock to the mission of Jesus? If you are unwilling to
change, it means you are unable to grow. To grow is to change.
Here’s our Prescription:
Spend some time thinking about how you deal with change. What would you die for? Write
down everything in your spiritual life that doesn’t really matter. Don’t major in the minors.
Jesus never changes. But, our constantly changing world needs Jesus – now!
